i started waking up earlier and it’s slowly changing my life
i used to consistently go to bed around 1am: trading or doing work close to bed
my brain was super active and the sleep i ended up getting would be poor.
mornings worse. waking up around 10am, but with mediocre recovery
last months, ive started to completely unwind and shut off 3 hours before bed, around 7:30
then just spend those hours literally relaxing. no tv, definitely no phones, and just talking, journaling, stretching, chilling!
really it starts with doing enough good work and calling it at a certain time. similar to working out, you can’t do 10 sets. just do a few high quality ones.
i haven’t slept this good since i was a kid. definitely feel the difference in my days. they feel longer waking up early, im way happier, have more energy, and can make better decisions.
better decisions = long term career success + $$$, which was always the source of my anxiety anyway
