Last year when @AdamWeitsman called me and asked if we should take over the project, the first thing I told him was: Brother I don’t have a team. We’re not a gaming studio. This is going to take a lot of time and money. I was completely honest from day one. Not because I was scared of the challenge or unwilling to put in the hours but because I never wanted to sell a fake dream or false expectations. When we announced we were taking over the project I received a lot of DMs saying it was impossible, that it was cringe, that we’d lose money, that Web3 gaming was dead, bla bla bla. Funny thing is when people tell me something can’t be done that’s usually when I feel more motivated to work on it. The real pressure isn’t the FUD. The real pressure comes when people tell me they trust me and believe I’ll give my best because the last thing I want is to let them down. So please keep the FUD coming. Keep calling us cringe. 😌 And honestly it makes me happy to see more and more people joining the project and trusting what we’re building.
