Looking through photos at home tonight, I wanted to see what I looked like when I was younger. I saw many memories from past jobs in my social circle, from Volkswagen in Germany to Amazon, Bybit, and Solana. I really want to express that the journey has been filled with beautiful scenery, and I feel so lucky to have always encountered smart, honest, and supportive colleagues. I love my job!

Mikel also shared an interesting point that I think is very relevant: many web3 startup teams are pursuing speed, and a common question they face is how to quickly build influence. They often ask if Solana can help us with promotion or what kind of KOLs we can find to assist with marketing. However, from both Mikel's and my experience, there are no shortcuts in entrepreneurship. Slow is fast; we need to diligently do each step well, serve every early user properly, and build strong relationships with supporters to establish a solid foundation.
All external assistance is leverage, and the higher the leverage, the greater the risk.

@Solana_zh Star Growth Programme is full of surprises.
Tonight, I had the honor of listening to @_mikel from @Backpack talk about team building and development.
//First, who is Mikel?//
Background in BCG and WPP, Head of Growth for Backpack in the European market.
//His advice for Web 3 startups in finding talent//
1. Confirm which mountain the company ultimately wants to climb.
Clarify the track and set the goal, and build the team based on the actual situation. Never simply copy the structure of other companies. Even in the same track, the different stages of development and different markets will lead to very different team forms.
2. The team is like comrades.
The journey of a startup to the top is bound to be full of challenges. Rather than calling the startup team employees, they are more like comrades, the ones who will support you when you are feeling down and lost. So when looking for a team, find those you can trust with your back.
3. Cross the river by feeling the stones.
Innovators face uncertainty. Starting a new business is like finding an exit in a maze; everyone is crossing the river by feeling the stones. In this uncertain environment, those who can learn quickly, react, and grow are more likely to find a way out.
4. Until it’s successfully built, it’s all talk.
Only delivery is the true endpoint. When understanding the background of potential team members, look at what they have built, not what they have talked about.
5. Startup team members are the mother cells of the organization.
The initial dozen or so members of the company must wear multiple hats, and their way of working will deeply influence the future culture of the organization, so their resilience and flexibility are also important.
//Therefore, @_mikel's message://
When startups are looking for their first or second batch of team members, they must consider their long-term contributions to the organization. If it’s just to solve some very straightforward single needs, in the Web 3 era, it’s better to prioritize third-party services.
Keep the rare position of Core Team for the right people. But when you find the right people, don’t hold back.
Mikel also shared many important points about personnel management during the Scale-up phase in class, as well as commonly used management tools. If you want to know more, feel free to join @Solana_zh Growth Training Camp!
P.S. Finally, here’s a reason why the @solana eco-system was able to survive the lows and build back up, brick by brick.
@armaniferrante @rajgokal @aeyakovenko You guys are focking Mad!
