저는 프로젝트를 야핑하는것이 아니라, 기술 혹은 트랜드가 되는 키워드를 이야기하고 거기에 리더보드에 있는 프로젝트를 몇숟가락 얹는 방법을 자주 사용합니다.
이때 해당 키워드의 기둥이 되는 하나의 프로젝트를 잘 선정하는 것이 중요합니다. (ZK의 경우 Prover network에 해당하는 @boundless_xyz )
예를들면 다음과 같습니다.
- Boundless + Cysic : Boundless의 Prover들은 비용과 성능 경쟁이 심함. 때문에 ZKP 전용 ASIC칩을 연구하는 @cysic_xyz 과 같은 하드웨어 가속화 개발팀이 주목받을수 있음
- Boundless + Anoma : Anoma의 인텐트가 모두에게 공개된다면 의도를 탈취당할수 있음. 때문에 ZK Proof가 필요하고, 이 Proof는 Boundless와 같은 prover network를 통해 안정적으로 공급받을수 있음.
이러한 방법을 사용하기 위해서는 하나의 키워드에 대해 일정수준의 이해도를 가지고 있어야 합니다. 하지만 한번 공부하고 나면 행복한 이중, 삼중 야핑생활을 즐길수 있죠.

좋은 토큰 나쁜 토큰
기술이 뛰어나고, 전망이 좋은 프로젝트가 발행한 토큰을 사면 부자가 될수 있을까?
좋은 토큰은 가치가 오르는 토큰 이다. 좋은 기술, 좋은 프로젝트와 좋은 토큰은 다르다.
마켓메이킹을 통해 폰지식 상승을 가져오는것을 제외하고, 어떤 토큰이 과연 가치가 오르는"좋은 토큰"인지 생각해보자.
일단 좋은토큰에 대해 이야기 하기 전에 절대 사서는 안되는 "나쁜 토큰"이 있다.
바로 아무런 기능 없이 프로젝트의 비용 마련과 VC엑싯을 위해 발행된 토큰이다.
대표적으로 몇몇 L2토큰들이 있다. 이들은 아무런 쓰임도 없고 프로토콜에 대한 권리도 없지만 '나중에 거버넌스에 쓰일것이다'로 위장해 프로젝트들의 자금 마련과 VC엑싯에 사용된다.
설령 마켓메이킹을 통해 오르더라도 절대 손대서는 안된다.
그렇다면 좋은 토큰이란 무엇일까? 기술이나 프로젝트의 대단함과는 별개로, 내가 생각하는 좋은 토큰은 다음 세가지이다.
1. 고유의 특성을 인정받고, 생태계를 키워가는 L1 블록체인의 네이티브 코인.
2. 돈을 버는 프로젝트의 Fee를 공유받을수 있는 권리를 갖는 토큰.
3. 유틸리티가 명확하고 꾸준한 구매 수요가 있는 토큰. (솔직히 찾아보기 어렵다)
이 세가지에 해당하지 않는다면, 차라리 밈코인이 낫다.
아무리 대단한 기술을 갖고있는 프로젝트라도 토큰이 아무 쓸모가 없다면, 그 토큰을 구매하고 장기적으로 보유하는 것은 기술 발전에 기부하는 행위일 뿐이라는 것을 항상 생각해야 한다.
