Been building one weird game concept every day in the background using Claude Code for fun, without touching any code at all.
This one is Weapon Roulette, a FPS demo where your next weapon is selected randomly after each shot, which in theory requires some interesting planning.
Whats neat is you don't have to wonder if an idea is good - you spin up a demo, go back and forth to refine it, and then figure it out.
I couldn't make the strategy element really work, but every time I needed a break, I would play the game Claude made and give suggestions. Fun!
I tried a Superhot-style time manipulation angle (Claude's suggestion) but that was too easy. Arenas felt like the weapon choice didn't matter. Rooms are better, but too much ammo led to too few choices, so limited ammo. Still haven't nailed it, so moving on to the next idea.
Previously, procedurally-generated world, civilization and language simulator...
