I asked @JacquelineSYC19 what its like after you raise a Series A from @Standard_Cap: "They don't take a board seat. Instead, they fund founders in batches, and you do group board meetings with each other. The idea is you learn a lot faster from other founders facing similar problems as you. We go one by one, 10 minutes at a time, presenting our biggest challenges. Then we all talk about them together. How do you build a team? How do you hire sales people? What does marketing look like? It's all things you don't think of pre-PMF that are necessary now as you're scaling. We're all in a Slack channel together. We're constantly working together and brainstorming. And you can talk to anyone at Standard whenever you need advice. Their whole model is that they don't need to be on your board to be helpful."
