Next week everyone's going to tweet their goals for 2026. By February, 80% will have quit because they set goals based on who they want to be instead of who they actually are right now. You can't jump from zero to hero in January. So take one step then another. Enjoy the process. Cheers🥂

People stay average because they've invested their entire identity in being average. Their whole life is built around not standing out. Safe job, opinions, everything. Then you come along actually trying to win and it threatens everything they believe about themselves. Because if you succeed, it proves they had a choice. That they could've done it too but chose comfort instead. That's why people discourage you. Not because they think you'll fail. Because they're terrified you'll succeed and remind them they gave up. Your success is proof they wasted time. And people hate being reminded of that. So they'll call you lucky/got in early. Anything to avoid admitting they chose wrong. Let them. You keep moving.

There is a demon or different side to your ego living inside you. You should not try to kill it. If you destroy that aggressive part of yourself just to be humble, you aren't actually being virtuous. You are just becoming harmless. And there is no virtue in being harmless. If you are unable to be dangerous, you are simply weak. To be a truly good person, you must be capable of doing bad things, but choose not to. You need to figure out how to exist in this world with strong abilities, not as a weak person. Do not wipe out that wild side of yourself. You cannot be a truly good person until you understand that you have the capacity for evil. You should be a monster, but a monster that is empathetic and under complete control. That is what true strength is.
