Introduction

During the World Cup, anyone can deploy World Cup-themed Uniswap v4 Hooks contracts on X Layer via Launchpad. At the end of the tournament, the Top 3 Token Creators — ranked by cumulative real trading volume after graduation — will share up to $200,000 USDT in prizes.

The prize pool unlocks in tiers based on total tournament trading volume — each time the cumulative volume hits the next threshold, the corresponding prize tier is unlocked. The Top 3 Token Creators split the currently unlocked prize pool.

Requirements

Hooks are only eligible for the leaderboard if they meet all of the following criteria. Failing any single one will disqualify the entry.

  • Projects must be World Cup-themed and launched on X Layer.
  • Projects must have a dedicated X account, tag @XLayerOfficial at submission, and post actively throughout the competition.
  • Submit contracts via one of two methods:

    Method 1: Apply for hooks allowlist via
    uniswap official portal
    and include the PR link in the Google Form.
    Method 2: Launch via Hook
    Launchpad
    on X Layer (e.g. eulr.fun) and graduate to Uniswap V4.
  • Submit via

Rules

When the hackathon ends, a snapshot will be taken of the cumulative OKX Wallet trading volume across all participating tokens. The anti-Sybil team will then conduct a final review of the Top 30 (merging multi-accounts / disqualifying violations). Awards will be announced on July 19, along with the release of the full data report.

Rule 1How will the Top 3 Hooks Creators be selected? Winners will be evaluated across three dimensions: code quality, World Cup creativity, and on-chain interaction volume.
Rule 2The prize pool is unlocked based on OKX Wallet front-end trading volume. Only trades executed through OKX Wallet on Uniswap V4 count toward the leaderboard. Trades from other wallets are excluded. Volume generated during the Launchpad internal trading phase does not count toward a Hook’s total volume or ranking.
Rule 31 EOA = 1 participating token. Each wallet address may only register 1 participating token. Multi-account launches and sybil token deployments will be identified by the anti-Sybil team — volume will either be merged into the primary address or result in disqualification.

FAQ

All participating trades must occur on X Layer. Trades on other chains will not count toward rankings.
No. The leaderboard only counts trading volume completed through OKX Wallet. Trades from any other wallet are not counted.
No. Only trading volume generated on Uniswap V4 after the token graduates counts toward rankings. All trading volume from the Launchpad bonding curve phase is excluded from a token’s total.
Prizes are awarded to the Hook creator. If the participating token was launched via Launchpad, the prize is awarded to the token’s Creator (the EOA wallet address that deployed the contract).
Winners will be evaluated across three dimensions: code quality, creativity, and on-chain interaction volume.
Yes, but substantial new development must be completed during the competition period.
