A pattern I’m seeing is that introducing someone to the Claude Code 4.6 / Codex 5.3 etc paradigm doesn’t work if you ask them about current problems they’re facing. They hate those problems, but they understand them. The transformative “oh shit” moment, every time, is when you get them to try something 10x larger than they would have thought to. Something they had written off as “that’s something other people smarter than me do.” Something they look at and think, “it will take a year of my life just to get bad at it.” And then they finish it in the same afternoon they opened terminal for the first time. The next day, they ask: “wait, what happens if open two terminals?”
