Genuinely curious how people design brand identities (just logo, colours and type) without ever showing them in use, on real touchpoints. In my process, the identity only starts to form once it’s applied — to a landing page, a pitch deck, or social media templates with actual copy and constraints. I start designing these, and only after I document it in the brand guidelines. That’s why every brand package I offer includes at least one real surface. Otherwise… how do you know the brand identity system works?
