Met another today. She was brilliant. Soft spoken. An atheist turned Christian, another topic that she is AFRAID to speak about. She never went to college, but she self taught cobol and basic in the 70's. She was the company goto when network wire installs were needed in particularly tight places. She sat on boards, and sold giant companies. She made millions in healthcare tech. Traveled the world, boats, houses, exclusive neighborhoods. She spent the past decade mostly as a caretaker for her family members in need. Took her an hour of deep conversation to open up to me about her politics. She tried to stop herself even. Said she didn't want to ruin the conversation. But I sensed she was conservative and made her feel comfortable. She AVOIDS religion and politics like the plague. Not because she doesn't have an opinion. She is accomplished and wise enough to see through the BS. She just wants to live in peace. She gets attacked if she speaks on these topics. Even in friendly conversation. With family, or with strangers. She is AFRAID to speak the TRUTH. She is among the best of us. This is widespread. This is tragic. This is dangerous.
