The games industry is exploding over the use of AI. The producer of Clair Obscur, which just set a record for most titles won at the Game Awards, publicly admitted to using AI in development. Tech allowed this indie studio to "do things that were unthinkable a short time ago."

Another controversy erupted yesterday when people tried to cancel another indie studio, Larian, for using AI in concept art and tasks that "nobody wants to do." Interestingly, the cancellation attempt seems to have backfired. Even the AI haters recognize it's here to stay.
