In a historic bipartisan vote, 78 Democrats and 216 Republicans voted to pass the CLARITY Act, a bill to create clear rules and consumer protections for crypto. Now the Senate needs to act and send market structure to the President’s desk by September! Legislation is hard. With every few steps forward there’s inevitably a step back. The necessary procedural vote on the crypto bills failed this afternoon, but leadership is working on getting it up for a vote and passed as soon as possible. It’s in these moments we’ll see who is trying to get pro-crypto legislation done and who is not. We’re eager to helping keep the process moving forward and getting CLARITY and GENIUS acts up for votes as soon as possible.

Congress has a real opportunity to ensure America leads on crypto. The House must pass the CLARITY Act, the GENIUS Act, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act to protect innovation, privacy, and the future of the U.S. dollar.
