Two forks ago we didn't have cheap L2 txs. Two forks from now we will have - perfect parallelization of execution - orders of magnitude more gas limit. - orders of magnitude more blobs. - better censor resistance It's a no brainer tradfi is trying to tap into Ethereum

Generally great to see some takes on Glamsterdam. But a few thoughts on FOCIL: > "its censorship benefits do not extend to 99% of transactions known to be excluded by block builders today." I don't think that's fair or accurate: - Today, 60% of transactions still go to the public mempool. Source from @Data_Always himself: All transactions submitted via the public mempool benefit from FOCIL. - 99% of transactions are not actually censored at all today. We are in a very lucky, temporary period of time in which not much censorship happens on public blockchains. This will not last. You also cannot predict what type of transactions will benefit most from CR guarantees tomorrow. For example, I think it's fair to say large institutions will need privacy and will value CR. It just hasn't really materialized yet. But it's also sort of missing the point. The argument that most transactions don't need FOCIL to get included today doesn't mean the network has good CR properties. We want the protocol to be ready when we'll need CR the most, and a good step in that direction is FOCIL.

My tier list for headliners in Ethereum's next network upgrade 'Glamsterdam'. ePBS and FOCIL are a must - both of these EIPs should go live together as they are massive unlocks for Ethereum. We can reduce slot times (EIP-7782) in the upgrade after Glamsterdam.

My uninformed take on Glamsterdam headliners. tldr: cypherpunk/acc Ethereum is at risk of institutional capture in next few years, so make CR and light clients real ASAP. No one will object to faster blocks or 64bit opcodes later. But many won't want to give up juicy orderflow.
