Lots of layoffs and departure announcements from various companies today. I don’t think is an indicator of anything bad for the brands unlike a lot of the posts we’re seeing on the timeline, rather I think it’s necessary to continue. I believe one of the only ways forward for many web3 brands in an environment of uncertain revenue, lack of royalties and finding pmf through it all is having scrappy founder/operators that are able to take on the work they would otherwise be outsourcing, which takes dedication and sacrifice of lifestyle, income and time. It takes personal risk, and putting yourself on the line. Which is what we’re seeing a lot of founders now doing when you look at who is still around working. Lmk your thoughts!
