What is OKX Wallet Auto-Confirm?
What is the Auto-Confirm feature in OKX Wallet?
The Auto-Confirm feature in OKX Wallet is designed to streamline your trading process and improve efficiency.
When placing a market order or limit order, your OKX Wallet can automatically complete the signature Confirmation for you with the Auto-Confirm feature. This means you won't need to manually enter your password, use biometric verification (such as face or fingerprint recognition), or activate any browser extension for each transaction once you turn on Auto-Confirm.
With Auto-Confirm enabled, your trades can be executed more quickly and smoothly, which saves you time and improves your overall trading experience.
What are the benefits of using Auto-Confirm?
Auto-Confirmation is designed to improve user experience in three key ways:
Faster transaction execution
By skipping repeated confirmation steps, transactions can be completed more quickly, helping users respond faster to market movements.
Smoother trading flow
Users can enjoy a more seamless experience similar to that of centralized exchanges, without interruptions during the trading process.
Security control options
While simplifying the process, Auto-Confirm includes safety features such as session time limits and transaction caps.
OKX doesn't have access to users' private keys or funds, this feature only helps you in automating the signing process.

FAQ
1. Is Auto-Confirm safe? How is my security protected?
Security is a top priority in the design of the Auto-Confirm feature. It includes multiple safeguards to help protect your assets:
Device-level binding: Auto-Confirm only works on the verified device you're currently using. If you switch devices, you'll need to re-import your wallet using your seed phrase or re-authenticate via password.
Extension wallet lock: In the browser extension, Auto-Confirm only functions while the wallet is unlocked and active on the official OKX Wallet website. Once the wallet is locked, the feature is temporarily disabled and will require re-authentication to resume. You can configure lock time and enable/ disable Auto-Confirm under Settings > Wallet lock in your OKX Wallet extension.
These measures are intended to strike a balance between user convenience and wallet security.
2. Which transactions support Auto-Confirm?
Auto-Confirm is available for specific transaction types and environments:
Supported
Chains: Solana and all EVM-compatible blockchains
Web only
Smart Accounts: Auto-Confirm is enabled by default and applies to supported transactions such as market and limit orders, and order management operations.
EOA Accounts: Users can choose to enable Auto-Confirm through the extension wallet settings.
Not Supported
Auto-Confirm doesn't apply to the following types of transactions:
Token transfers
Token approval transactions
NFT / DeFi transactions
Others
3. Can I disable Auto-Confirm?
Smart Accounts: Auto-Confirm is always enabled and can't be disabled.
EOA Accounts: You can disable the feature anytime via the web extension: Settings > Wallet lock.
4. Why am I sometimes still prompted to verify manually after I enabled Auto-Confirm?
In certain scenarios, the system will still require manual verification, even with Auto-Confirm enabled. These include, but are not limited to:
Your first transaction after unlocking the wallet
Situations where potential risk signals or unusual activity are detected
Manual verification may involve entering your wallet password or using biometric authentication (e.g., fingerprint or face ID), depending on your device and settings. These checks are intended to provide an additional layer of security when needed.
