The NF and IN Reality:
It’s not that we love everyone. We can understand people: their choices, their pain, their contradictions, but that doesn’t always translate into affection. What we genuinely love is humanity: the potential, the healing, the possibility of better. Sometimes that comes across as distant or even self-important, as if we’ve disappeared into some private mission to fix the world, or as if we're unaware of our own flaws. But it's not because we think we’re saviors, it's because we don’t know how else to carry the weight of what we see.
We can hold space for someone’s pain, but we’re also holding the pain of systems, of history, of a world that often feels like it’s unraveling. It’s like knowing poverty exists while someone is upset about cinnamon-flavored floss. We’re not judging, but our minds tend to zoom out. It can be hard to give all our attention to just one thing when we’re constantly toggling between the personal and the collective.
And after a while, when you’re used to being misunderstood, it feels easier to stop explaining. To let people think you’re aloof or uncaring, when really you’re just somewhere else trying to make sense of it all.

Current state of the medical establishment:
Brought a friend to the ER for a high fever.
Put their symptoms into Grok.
Grok told me to ask for 4 tests.
Doctor said 1 of them is unnecessary.
I insisted we do them all.
Test came back positive on the one he didn’t want to do.

Japan just agreed to a trade deal that:
1. Still involves paying a 15% "reciprocal tariff"
2. Requires a $550 BILLION investment in the US
3. 90% of profits from investment go to US
In order to agree to this "deal," Japan's economy must be far worse than most people expect.
Treasury yields are rising to record highs in Japan for a reason.
Japan is desperate.
