Navigating Sui: Staking - Volo

What is Volo?

Volo’s primary focus is to bring in a revolutionary concept that allows users to stake their SUI tokens while maintaining liquidity. Through Volo's liquid staking protocol, users can stake their SUI tokens and receive liquid staking tokens (voloSUI) in return. The voloSUI receipt represents the staked assets and provides users with liquidity, allowing holders to utilize their assets in various DeFi applications while still earning staking rewards.

Why use Volo?

Volo's liquid staking solution provides flexibility by allowing users to stake SUI tokens while maintaining liquidity through voloSUI tokens, which can be freely traded or used across DeFi protocols. This enables users to earn staking rewards while simultaneously participating in DeFi opportunities, maximizing their potential returns.

The protocol operates under decentralized governance through a DAO, giving voloSUI holders voting rights on proposals to collectively shape Volo's future. To ensure reliability, Volo partners with trusted, experienced node operators who minimize technical risks and help maintain the protocol's smooth operation. This combination of liquidity, governance participation, and professional node operation creates a secure and flexible staking environment.

About Staking

Navigating Sui: Staking

What is staking? Why should I stake? Staking borrows from the traditional concept of a yield-bearing savings account. In a bank, customers deposit their funds into an account and earn a certain percentage for keeping it there. Meanwhile, the bank loans this money to businesses as debts through the fractional reserve system. In return, the bank earns high interest and pays the customer a smaller portion as interest on their deposit.
