People are criticizing the EF's recalibration. They are frustrated after seeing Solana and Hyperliquid expanding crypto's TAM while Ethereum watches idly But I actually think this is the right move Ethereum can't compete on "product" or "finance" in a very literal sense. But it can compete on a much larger market - non-sovereign stores of value In this world you want your money to be censorship resistant (often private), scarce and technically durable. Maybe you also want to be able to take a loan against it, but not much more In these areas Ethereum spikes, it's optionally private, scarce after staking and has an impeccable track record of coordinating complex upgrades to help future proof it Better off leaning into this and play the long game rather than chasing "product" beta
