Interesting observation after having mentored a ton of people over the years is that financial background never made that huge of a difference in how much someone struggled in life Have worked and continue to work with a range of dudes who come from well off families and humble beginnings alike. Some parents bankrolling them or with connections, others needing to completely fend for themselves, etc You'd think the ones that come from money would have an "easier" time working through things but not the case in my experience. Safety net or not, it doesn't discriminate against these common themes of feeling stuck, unfulfilled, generally uneasy or "in a rut" Of course it's very chill to have that type of support but if I've learned anything, it's that everyone grapples with the same emotions, wants the same things, and it's simply because it's part of the human experience. Expand your definition of what "making it" means and it's true that we're actually all in this together
