I enjoyed this and I actually agree. The trials I mentioned in my clinic-in-the-loop article were guided by *human judgement* w/ a lot of prior knowledge. That being said, I strongly disagree that clinic in the loop is in any way the accepted model atm. When it comes to experimentation, we like doing a lot of in vitro experiments & high throughput science etc& we've progressively moved away from integrating our knowledge with the clinic.
