If tax money was genuinely used for improving the society you live in, supporting those who are in need (disasters etc), and securing the things you cared about - it would still suck, but there would be real value in it, most would be fine. But when it’s taken from you, and freely given to people taking over your country, it is absolute madness to accept that.
