Need a term for when you point out someone misread you and they continue to aggressively take issue with you over the 'you' they misread into existence.

I'd also like a term for when you use a term and someone refuses to use the term in the same way, making conversation impossible. Ex: When I say "lions" I mean the cats, but when I talk to Bob about lions, he refuses to talk about anything but Detroit, to his confusion.
