no, the tech will not sell itself last year, I did the first g(t)m con 0 in Bangkok and together, we started a revolution so i'm bringing it back this year in Buenos Aires last year, my thesis was simple: marketing is misunderstood and under appreciated and it's holding the industry back. get all the marketers together and we'll take over the timeline and put marketing at the center of the industry conversation this event was the first of it's kind and since then, we've seen the conversation completely shift - marketers in high demand w/ competitive pay - founders putting marketing at the center of their strategy, hiring marketers earlier - more thoughtful, strategic and planned launches - major players (VCs) now evaluate marketing as an essential part of a core team's strengths together, we killed 'the tech sells itself' as a narrative the thesis this year is the same, and so is the format it's 6 hours of pure substance, unrecorded, candid with only the best experts we will take over the timeline we will set the tone for the rest of @EFDevcon we will shape the narrative for 2026 bc that is literally what we do, and when we do it together, it's impossible to ignore it's a marketing conference for marketers, by marketers
