Nakamoto coefficients are not a good way to measure decentralization. They can be easily gamed, and considering a mining pool as a single entity in this context is highly misleading.
Leaning into this metric, which is not defined precisely enough to avoid a biased interpretation, puts Kaspa in line with projects like Nano and Chia, who lean heavily into it because that's the only narrative they can extract from their mordbidly misaligned incentives.
Kaspa doesn't need optics that place it in the same rubric when it can provide infinitely better justifications for its superiority.

Just received credible inside information that a few mo this ago KEF paid Christian Ludwig (in the form of "business partnerships") to discredit me publicly.
I must be very good at what I do if they were that threatened lol.
(Can't provide evidence without burning my source, but at this point idgaf who believes me and who doesn't anyway.)

This space will actually be very interesting to anyone following @_Qubic_ and @monero exchanging blows. Most of the space we discussed the preliminary results I posted yesterday and how to interpret them.

Thanks @xximpod for having me over to an exciting talk about post-quantum cryptography from a blockchain perspective. I'm glad we could hit fascinating subjects that are often ignored.

🚨 New podcast with Dr @DesheShai [A must-watch!]
Full Video -
A must-watch for anyone interested in the intersection of Quantum technology and Blockchain, offering a glimpse into the future of secure, decentralized systems.
Join us on the XXIM Podcast, your go-to destination for all things decentralization as we sit down with Dr @DesheShai (PHD in Quantum Cryptography) and a leading expert in quantum cryptography, to explore the potential impact of quantum computing on Bitcoin and Kaspa.
@DesheShai whose PhD research focused on post-quantum migration for Bitcoin, demystifies Quantum computers, Highlighting their differences from classical systems and their ability to challenge cryptographic frameworks like Bitcoin’s elliptic curve cryptography.
In this Episode we also delve into critical topics such as the vulnerabilities of #Quantummining, the risks of #Quantumdoublespend attacks, and strategies to safeguard Bitcoin against a quantum future.
Lastly, you will get to hear about @DesheShai exciting new venture with a pioneering post-quantum blockchain.

Some are under the impression that the theory of blockchains from a computer theoretic standpoint is very much isolated from their economy.
This couldn't be further from the truth.
Economic assumptions are a key motivation in Bitcoin's design, baked into the protocol via the decision to reward miners.
The mathematical analysis of blockchains ubiquitously relies on a formal definition of the idea that this reward has value.
In practice. Many structural decisions are designed to align incentives into a desirable outcome.
A blockchain architect must have a deep abstract (though not necessarily rigorous) understanding and appreciation of the game theory, including it's quantifiable aspects.
Consequently, TCS is a driving force in refining our understanding of the economy of blockchains.
Retail is morbidly unaware of these aspects of blockchain design (and most of those who are understand it poorly and twist it as a rhetoric to justify their presuppositions).
I've been trying to change it,but it is a steep uphill battle. The subtleties often feel too minute to communicate.
I'm open for suggestions.

The best application I found for AI so far is (supplemental, not replacement) peer review.
While not as good as peer review from experts, it is the most readily available resource that could check your test for consistencies, verify that your citations are accurate, and point out important context you might have missed.
The scientific quality of my writing definitely improved overnight thanks to this capability, and I hope this will present itself in the monster post about selfish mining I'm currently writing for @QuaiNetwork

Netanyahu's farce of a "security cabinet" voted to "overtake Gaza".
Neyanyahu knows very well he doesn't have the army to do this. But this isn't about Gaza at all. He's just setting the stage to postpone the elections.
There's a war between the Israeli government and the Israeli people, and it stepped up today.
