I don't think "old Deng" is a derogatory term; it should be a compliment. Only the wealthy or powerful older individuals are called "old Deng." Otherwise, they are called "old not dead." Similarly, don't always look down on "old Deng" just because you think you're young; everyone was young at some point. You can't even be considered "young Deng"; you're called "young not dead." At this point, the "young not dead" will definitely get fired up, don't underestimate the poor youth.
