Many friends know that I only eat one meal a day. I have been practicing intermittent fasting for seven or eight years, and I personally highly recommend using fasting as a method to maintain physical health. Currently, my personal routine is to have dinner as my only meal, with no restrictions on what I can eat. I skip breakfast and lunch, and I don't snack. I might drink a can of cola during dinner, but I try not to drink it every day. Throughout the day, I basically don't consume any food except for dinner, and I occasionally supplement with some fruit, but not in large quantities. Sometimes when I stay up late, I might eat some beans to increase my feeling of fullness. At first, it was very difficult; I was almost always in a state of hunger, feeling hungry all the time, even when I was having dinner, I would eat a lot. It felt like I could eat the amount for a whole day. But gradually, I have noticed that during the day, I don't feel any hunger. The hunger mainly comes after 3 AM, and my dinner is basically the same amount as a normal person's meal. For the past three years, I have maintained a weight of around 140 pounds, occasionally dropping below 140 during the day, and slightly increasing after dinner, with a height of 177 cm. My level of physical activity is very low; occasionally, I remember to swim in the morning, play badminton, or take a walk. I maintain about five hours of sleep each night and feel good overall.
