There are rules and there are guidelines in Elliott Wave Theory. Where most people screw up is rushing through the information without ever having memorized both. It is imperative that you have all rules and guidelines memorized and readily available whenever you label charts. Oh, and it should go without saying (which is why I will say it anyway) that rules and guidelines are different, and you have to understand the difference.
