Unless there are some key details missing here, this looks not good for OP tokenholders, whose dilution financed Base joining the Superchain in the first place (118,111,595 OP grant) Large holders of OP would not be remiss to ask for clarification about what this means for the revenue accruing to OP governance, and how much of that grant will be clawed back. It’s also a demonstration of major conflict of interest if Labs gets consulting fees and OP holders do indeed lose this 15% sequencer fee share from Base.
