I visited Joetsu City in Niigata Prefecture to support "Shuichi Takatori," who is endorsed by the Liberal Democratic Party. The support from everyone in Niigata's 5th district (Tokamachi City, Itoigawa City, Myoko City, Joetsu City, Uonuma City, Minamiuonuma City, Minamiuonuma District, Nakauonuma District) for "Shuichi Takatori" will empower me, Sanae Takaichi. Please cast your vote for "Shuichi Takatori!" We will continue to deliver measures against rising prices in Niigata Prefecture! 〇 Gasoline price: 173.5 yen/L (last October) → 154.1 yen/L (this January) 〇 Light oil price: 156.9 yen/L (last October) → 145.2 yen/L (this January) 〇 Electricity bill: For a usage of 400 kWh/month, the electricity bill in January this year will decrease from 13,333 yen to 11,533 yen with Tohoku Electric Power. 〇 In Niigata Prefecture, we are continuously delivering measures funded by the government's key support grants. For example, ・By covering the increased costs of purchasing food ingredients for special support schools due to rising prices with public funds, we can maintain the current menu without increasing the burden on parents. ・We are providing a 50% subsidy to municipalities that implement assistance for kerosene purchase costs for low-income households. ・To reduce the burden on general households using LP gas, we will provide 700 yen per household against the usage fee in February. 〇 In Tokamachi City, we plan to sell premium gift certificates to citizens (selling 13,000 yen worth of gift certificates for 10,000 yen). Additionally, we plan to provide a grant of 20,000 yen per household to households exempt from resident tax. 〇 In Itoigawa City, to quickly support households affected by rising food prices, we plan to provide 10,000 yen in cash per person. 〇 In Myoko City, we will provide a grant of 5,000 yen for kerosene purchase costs to households exempt from resident tax. Furthermore, to provide economic support to households affected by rising prices and to stimulate the local economy through consumption, we plan to distribute 10,000 yen worth of living support gift certificates to citizens. 〇 In Joetsu City, in addition to the national policy of providing 20,000 yen per child to households eligible for child allowances, we will add 5,000 yen independently, making it 25,000 yen per child. We also plan to distribute 3,000 yen worth of coupons that can be used at local stores to all citizens. 〇 In Uonuma City, we will provide a grant of 5,000 yen for kerosene purchase costs to households exempt from resident tax. We also plan to issue gift certificates with a 100% premium rate (5,000 yen for 10,000 yen worth of shopping). 〇 In Minamiuonuma City, to suppress the increase in side dish costs at nursery schools, we are currently alleviating the burden on parents by covering the increased material costs that parents would normally bear with public funds. Additionally, we plan to provide 10,000 yen per household as assistance for kerosene purchase costs to households exempt from resident tax and those exempt from income tax. Furthermore, to support citizens against rising prices of food and to stimulate the local economy, we plan to issue gift certificates with a premium of 5,000 yen (15,000 yen worth of gift certificates available for purchase at 10,000 yen).
