That aside, the part where she says “be careful with your verbiage.” is completely the wrong take away lesson here. (Also it pisses me off as a free speech absolutist, but that’s a rant for another day.) The take home lesson is we must fight this governmental overreach tooth and nail. This data will be collected, it already is and has been for years, but we need to make a stink about it so that access to this data requires a real warrant where they have to show probable cause signed by a non partisan judge, (preferably a panel of judges,) and def not something that political appointee randos and 50k bonus check lifetime losers can access on their office laptops and phones at will.
