I realized something about our CEO @mamagnus00 the night I accidentally locked him out of our apartment. This was in Switzerland. I left the key inside the door, went to sleep, and put my phone on silent. He couldn’t get in and couldn’t reach me. He ended up sleeping outside. I woke up to Slack messages and immediately panicked. When I called him, expecting him to be pissed, he was… weirdly happy. Said he felt amazing that he’d had a great night and is full of energy. Zero frustration. That moment stuck with me because it wasn’t an exception. This is consistent with how he operates. Before YC, at the idea stage, he spent two months working and sleeping in SPH (The Student Project House from ETH in Zurich), doing nothing but coding and testing ideas. He didn’t go out, ate microwaved food, showered in a neighboring building… That’s also where he met his cofounder and CTO @gregpr07. He tends to go all-in on anything he believes might help. Sometimes that means drinking an absurd number of protein shakes because they’re "healthy". In work, it shows up as extremely fast feedback loops: ship, talk to customers immediately, adjust, repeat. No overthinking. Once in SF, he went for a morning walk, saw people running, joined them on a whim… and "accidentally" ran a half marathon. He wasn’t even training. What surprised me most is that none of this comes at the expense of people. He checks in with us a lot, asks how he can help, and genuinely cares about the team and our lives outside of work. Every weekly meeting, he asks about our best moment. I’m not sure how much of this is personality versus choice. But being around this kind of energy raises the bar for everyone. It’s hard not to move faster when that pace feels normal. There are a lot of small moments like this. Taken individually they’re funny. Taken together, they explain a lot about how @browser_use moves so fast.
