Make college and healthcare function more like a competitive consumer electronics market (more innovation, less bureaucracy, real cost competition), and we'd likely see trends look a lot more like that plummeting TV line... rather than the runaway hospital and tuition curves. Fewer deans and administrators, more actual education and healthcare delivered efficiently.
