I remember back in the day when banks would set up a sunshade on the street to issue cards, with a banner boldly stating "Free Withdrawals and Deposits." How is it that after more than a decade, I still have to explain what I’m doing when I want to withdraw 20,000 in cash? Why do you care what I’m doing? Can’t I just hang it on my wall at home to look at? The result is no, that’s not a legitimate reason! In this environment, how can you promote any consumption?
