I approve of this type of thing. Back in the day “children’s books” were made to entertain and excite, not to train kids up in some political theory. Wind in the Willows, Nancy Drew, the Boxcar Children, Where the Red Fern Grows. And of course Hardy Boys. I cut my teeth on Tarzan and Poul Anderson’s science fiction.
