This is the longest driving range among imported electric vehicles currently on the market. The Tesla Model YL is equipped with an 82.5 kWh NCM (Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese) battery produced at LG Energy Solution's Nanjing plant, with an energy density of about 176 Wh/kg, which is known to be the highest among Tesla's lineup. The Model YL is a long-wheelbase version of the Model Y, with a body length approximately 15 cm longer than the Model Y, significantly increasing the interior space. However, the Tesla Model YL is the only model in the family electric SUV category, so it is expected to significantly encroach on the demand for Hyundai's Palisade and Kia's Carnival.
