was talking to my buddy about how dinner first dates are now definitively a terrible idea & entirely outdated. culture has moved on.
when you meet anyone new you should optimize for:
- short, cheap, exit friendly (coffee, walk, drink).
- movement > sitting.
- contextual novelty (bookstore, gallery, flea, dumb errand).
- easy escalation path if it’s clicking.
this is the new modernity.
- long, expensive, no exit
