So, I'm not going to say that I'm a reincarnation believer.
I will, however report that I once went through an induction designed to elicit past-life memories by somebody who thought it could do that. And I recovered, or constructed, a very detailed series that had nothing to do with being a noble or a hero.
I remembered, if that's the word, being a silversmith in what must have been an early Iron Age culture. Huts with thatched roofs. Linen clothing. Serpentiform decorations. Hot summers, cold winters, and a lot of marshland to the north where we ran primitive cattle. The memories included making chased-silver decorations for a beautiful cross-hilted sword in a pattern that years later I would learn to associate with Vikings. The sword was not for local use; I was aware it was going to be traded out of the settlement where I lived.
Everything was consistent with early Germans somewhere on the southern margins of the Baltic Sea and what's now Northern Germany or Poland. Could have been the Wielbark or Oksywie culture, but I think it was earlier than that. Pre-Migration-Period.
I was a tow-headed, wiry little man, vain about my metalworker muscles. Not a warrior; it was a relatively peaceful time and I didn't need to be - that's what makes me think it was really early.
I have no commitment to any idea that these were real memories, but it was quite an interesting experience.
