.@scaryjellomj @Dr_Keefer May I ask a serious (and respectful) question? You guys seem to have unlimited energy to "debunk" the commercial viability of so-called 'advanced' nuclear fission technologies, and while I personally disagree with you, I still respect and understand your perspective and why you believe what you believe. What I can't understand is why you seem to have unlimited angst for Oklo and other pre-revenue 'advanced nuclear' startups, but nothing to say about the Fusion charlatans. So far as I know, Commonwealth Fusion is still moving forward with their plans to *break ground* on a commercial fusion plant in VA. They are literally building a powerplant to be based on technology proven NOT to work, and despite that nobody has even managed to reliably reproduce a Q>1 reaction outside a national lab type setting. And they're raising money to build a physical power plant! Please help me understand why you have so much distain for 'advanced' fission but none for the many companies who are confidently telling investors and the public that grid-scale commercial fusion energy is 'just a couple more years away'. I don't understand why you focus your debunking energies where you do. Thanks!
