Whether the specific ICE officer was justified in this specific shooting is not the main point. The main discussion should be if we want so many armed Feds active in our streets and if we want the domestic standing army the founders warned about. The more armed soldiers on our streets, the more “justified shootings”. When you have heavily armed men grabbing people, doing raids and stopping cars then some things inevitably go wrong. In many of those cases there will be shootings, including justified / legal shootings. This doesn’t mean this is a good thing or the best path and option.
