I still think about the internal uproar caused by this large company that set a soft expectation of 1 diff/day on average for devs ... in 2021 or 2022 (before ChatGPT.) As it was considered a sign of making ongoing, daily progress, devs not being blocked

... just reflecting on how much has changed, how quickly. What was seen as perhaps pushig devs too hard (and some devs gaming it by eg breaking up larger diffs they worked on into smaller ones, sprinkled out over days) is now trivial with AI agents...
