Unfortunate that Trump cannot more eloquently frame the argument for US oil companies in Venezuela. The US is not “entering” or “stealing” Venezuelan oil. Our companies invested in the exploration and construction of these assets before they were expropriated by the current regime. We have every right to seek redress for this theft.
