Twitter has become such a hive-think cesspool lately. IG (to my surprise) feels so much better in comparison. I genuinely feel like I can’t grow anymore (not just professionally, but personally) unless I submit to the groupthink and betray myself in the process. On IG, you can simply say what you think. It’ll land or it won’t but you don’t feel pressured to contort yourself or speak a language that goes against your soul just to grow /politics aside but that’s not my biz anyway. On Twitter it’s like you either submit to the ideology of the moment or you risk your whole business. The endless trad Amish raw milk churn butter back to the hut rhetoric… people get stuck in one mode of thinking and can’t seem to discern anything outside of it. I’ve held my ground promoting alternative ideas that have genuinely changed lives but tbh I’m tired. It’s simply easier and more creatively freeing on IG.
