🚨🇨🇳🇺🇸 CHINA JUST REMAPPED GLOBAL TRADE - AND THE U.S. GOT LEFT BEHIND
China smashed through $1 trillion in trade surplus for the first 11 months of 2025 - and here’s the kicker: the U.S. barely factored in.
November alone delivered $112 billion, the strongest monthly haul since mid-year, reversing October’s slump. Exports rose 5.9% YoY, shrugging off predictions of fatigue.
But the U.S.? Out of the picture. Shipments to America plunged ~29% YoY, as Beijing rerouted its goods to Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
The result: a global trade network resilient to U.S. tariffs, keeping China’s export machine humming while American policymakers scramble.
China isn’t just dodging tariffs... it’s rewriting global sourcing.
Demand followed the supply, not the other way around. Critical sectors like semiconductors, ships, and autos show above-average growth, even as domestic consumption softens and property woes linger.
The lesson: global markets, not the U.S. alone, now fuel Chinese trade dominance.
Expect mounting friction in Brussels and beyond.
Tariff threats, like Macron’s, may follow, but rerouted shipments make one-region protectionism largely ineffective.
Supply chains will recalibrate: manufacturing hubs could migrate, trade corridors shift, and “China Shock 2.0” will echo across industries.
In short: China weaponized U.S. tariffs, turned them into a global sales blitz, and remapped the world trade map without firing a shot.
The U.S. got ghosted - and the rest of the globe just got the memo.
