Today is my birthday. I turn 21 years old! Here are some facts that you probably didn't know about me: • I did karate for 8 years and am a world championship bronze medalist. • I have 12,000+ hours in @TeamFortress and played it professionally. • I studied computer science for 2 years and then dropped out. Some people care a lot about age and use it to their advantage, saying things like, "Wow, I'm so young, look at what I've achieved," or "I've lived there longer than you, so I know better." I think this is a totally wrong philosophy. It's pretty simple because everyone is born under different circumstances: • Someone was born in a first-world country in a pretty wealthy family. • Someone comes from the middle class. • Someone was born in a country with a really bad passport and hardly a roof over their head. So, judging someone by what they have achieved by a certain age doesn't make any sense, nor does shaming yourself for not doing as well as someone else by a certain age. I really like the culture we have in Web3; an 18-year-old can work with a 35-year-old and see absolutely no difference. TradFi companies usually don't have that. I'm pretty happy with what I have now and aim to do even better in the future. I'm a pretty introverted person, so I have a pretty small circle of people I talk to on a daily basis: my mom, my girlfriend, and my best friend. Now I'm very happy to work with smart people and amazing protocols like @Polymer_Labs, @0xSonicLabs, @SwapXfi, @threesigmaxyz, and a couple of others coming pretty soon! I really like research & writing and focus most of my time on that, not forgetting to lift some weights haha. I'm sure 2025 will be an amazing year both for me and for crypto as an industry, with Bitcoin updating its ATH and lots of protocols going live. I'm pretty excited for the future.
