Today, I’m grateful for this city, for its people, and for the beautiful land we call home. But my heart remains heavy for those who have experienced unimaginable loss this year. I’m holding close the families who lost loved ones in recent raids, residents who lost everything in the January wildfires, and every Angeleno who is struggling to find a safe place to sleep tonight. We will keep working — every day — until every person has a safe place to call home, until families are no longer torn apart, and until every community is able to rebuild and heal. Wishing you and your loved ones peace and comfort today.
