Am I on Ozempic? God, no. Do I think it’s harmful? Yes. Deeply. Is this our reality? Unfortunately, yes and I’m not going to pretend otherwise.
What pushed me over the edge is the avalanche of messages I get every single week from women (and men) on GLP-1s who feel horrible… And tbh I’m tired of watching the holistic sphere do nothing but fear-monger while 1 in 6 Americans has already tried a GLP-1. Everyone and their hamster is on some version of it.
We need to stop pretending this isn’t happening & we need to help people survive it.
So this book will be exactly that: how to survive (and even thrive) through the metabolic catastrophe that is Ozempic & co. Practical, physiological, bioenergetic obviously. I said to myself: no moralising, no shaming, only strategy.
