⭕️ Breaking: The U.S.-based Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) says it is ending its Gaza mission after more than 2,600 Palestinians were killed and around 20,000 wounded between May 27 and October 9 while seeking aid. The toll came as Israel blocked UN and partner deliveries, engineering a famine and forcing civilians toward GHF-run sites where Israeli soldiers fired on starving civilians. Executive Director John Acree said GHF always planned to “prove that a new approach could succeed” and then hand it off to others, adding: “GHF has been in talks with CMCC and international organizations now for weeks about the way forward, and it’s clear they will be adopting and expanding the model GHF piloted.” The group, backed by the Trump administration, faced UN condemnation for the weaponization of aid and the creation of “death zones” at its distribution sites, even as it claimed success in preventing Hamas from looting food.
