If pressed, I would say my favorite author is Chekov. A doctor who observed people closely, took his experiences in, tried to tell us something about what human beings are. He wrote mainly short stories/novellas. A courtesy to readers - who don’t have time for 1,000 pages.

There is nothing more interesting to human beings than other human beings. This is why much of AI writing just falls flat. There is something missing that îs hard to articulate. But it’s real.
