Zoom determines how we see a Meridian. It’s one of the traits that most directly changes composition, from intimate texture studies to sweeping topographies 👇
There are three zoom levels in Meridians: → Close → Medium → Far Each defines not only the viewer’s perspective, but also how color, line, and density interact within the generative landscape.
🔍 Close zooms feel geological: almost microscopic. You see the algorithm’s hand: thousands of tiny strokes layering into sediment. Each piece feels tactile, like rock or textile.
🏞️ Medium sits at equilibrium. Here, we get just enough distance to sense terrain while retaining visible structure.
🌐 Far zoom flattens the world into abstraction. The strokes blend into contour lines, fields of color and motion rather than terrain.
Across all 1,000 Meridians, zoom subtly shapes narrative: Close → intimacy, density, craft. Medium → harmony, balance, rhythm. Far → distance, scale, dream. Each a different reading of the same algorithm.
